Jade's Dress

One of my goals this year is to have more time for crafts.  Make more time I guess I should say.  Here is my first project of the year.  I started it right after the new year and then I had to wait to get tulle.  Then I wanted to wait for my new machine to finish it but it's finally done.  I pretty proud of it.  I added the ties, the ribbon, the tulle, an underskirt.  I did buttons instead of a zipper and I made it completely lined.  It could be worn inside out.  I'm exceptionally proud of these off pattern things I figured out.  She is a thin little girl so the bodice is a little big.  I couldn't get her to let me put it on her until it was done.  After that she wouldn't take it off.  She had it on the whole day the first Sunday she wore it to church.  I have some skirts and tutus I'm going to make her.  A princess dress later on.  Oh and tons of other crafts.  More to come.
