What is there to say about the zoo? The kids had fun. It was very hot. This is not the first time we decided to go when it was this hot. I don't know why we keep doing it. Maybe because by the end of July we are dying for something exciting to do and the prospect of snow at the zoo was just to hard to pass up.
The animals got popsicles and piles of snow.
Gauge was thrilled with everything.
This guy was funny. He just looked you right in the eye. He seemed to adore the attention.
Pretty flamingos.
This guy was named Ralph. He was huge and ate lettuce at a shocking pace.
We finally convinced Gauge to get wet.
Jade on the other hand was all in.
I think this was the kids favorite part. I guess I didn't get pictures at the snow pile. It wasn't that exciting. It was kind of a muddy mess by the time we got to it.
I love Gauge's face in this one.
