Who got first place? Yep it was Teagan. He was totally humble about it too. The first race he one he did the pull the arm down with a YESSSSS. After that I think he was in shock that he kept winning. He and Ian had put the car together the day before weigh ins. I think they were both shocked. Ian didn't want to be one of those dads so he had Teagan come up with the design and let him use the power tools to shave the car down. Ian just helped. Teagan even raced one of the older kids that brought his undefeated car. They raced three times and Teagan one twice. Pretty fast car. Pretty exciting for his first Pinewood Derby.

BLYTHE - Cub Scout Pack 429 held their annual Pinewood Derby at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on June 11. Sixteen cubs participated, each taking a "kit" car and with design and other embellishments, turned it into a "one-of-a-kind"car to race. The big winners for the day were; Teagan John 1st place, Dayson Erath 3rd place and Shane Holladay 2nd place. Each boy participating received a ribbon along with other fun awards.
